The vision of Lansing First Church is to be the spiritual and physical presence of Christ in our community. 


Pastor Ray and his wife Evette are both retired from the US Army, after having served more than 50 years of combined service.  They have six children and nine grand children.  God has called them to serve at Lansing First Naz and He has filled their hearts with compassion and concern for the greater Lansing area. 
Pastor Sarah is Pastor to Children and Families. She has been serving at Lansing First for 5 years. She is married to Kyle James, who supports her in her ministry. They have a beautiful daughter named Layla. 
Jessie is Minister to Students and Outreach. Jessie is a mom to two kids. She enjoys playing with her kids, cooking, and shopping. Jessie feels blessed to be serving in the church that she grew up in. Jessie works with the youth group, and students in transitional ages.  Jessie enjoys working with students of all ages, and helping them to find their value, identity, and role in the body of Christ.
Dewayne and Stephanie have been a part of First Church for over 25 years.  They recently joined in 2012.  Stephanie coordinates the Outreach Ministry & Dewayne is Sunday School Superintendent.  Stephanie also is the Executive Director of the Childcare Center, First Nazarene Childcare & Learning Academy.  They have been married for 30 years and they have two children, Ashlee (Tony), Brittanie, and two grandchildren.  Both Stephanie and Dewayne have a love for Christ and passion for people.
Claudette serves as NMI president at Lansing First. She enjoys teaching children about missions and believes strongly in the importance of teaching the church about what the church of the Nazarene is doing around the world!
Kathy serves as Worship leader at Lansing First. She has a passion for prayer and for praising God..
Mike was born in MI, and holds a BA degree from WMU and Masters in Rehab Counseling from MSU. Mike was a statewide client advocate and Program manager for Youth Low Vision at the state of MI and retired after 32 years of service in 2002. Mike retired again in 2013 as president/CEO of MEE Inc. and is currently serving as the minister to adults..
