Children’s Ministry
Jesus said “Let the children come to me” and at Lansing First we agree! Children are a treasure and we believe they should not only be taught the bible basics but also be given opportunity to serve in the church as God leads.
Children ages 4-9 meet for Sunday school at 9:30am on Sundays and then join their parent for praise time before being dismissed to Children’s church.
Discovery (membership)
We offer a class in order to:
 1) Let you know who we are and what we believe.               2) Who you are.                                                                     3) And where you fit in.                                                      This class is scheduled as needed throughout the year
Tweens and Teens Ministry
Our focus for this age group is on discipleship, and we are developing an environment where our tween and teen students are both being discipled, and offering discipleship to others.
Teens and tweens (ages 10-18) are encouraged to join us for Sunday school at 9:30am on Sunday mornings and then are also invited to help teach the younger children during Children’s church.
Nazarene Missions International
Lansing Area Zone Youth
Lansing Area Zone Youth (LAZY) is a collaboration of youth groups from some of the Nazarene churches in the greater Lansing area. LAZY provides opportunities for our youth group to connect with other local students through fun activities and service opportunities throughout the year. The highlight of the LAZY group’s yearly calendar is the Right of Passage Encounter (ROPE) which encourages our youth to strive towards righteousness and purity.
Boxworks Ministry
The Boxworks ministry at Lansing First began as a group of fun loving, dedicated and uplifting seniors who each week provide service to their community and international aid to other countries. However, this has developed into a passionate group of mission minded people of all ages; gathering to fellowship and prepare essentials for the mission field.
