When should I be there?
Sunday School – 9:30 am
Sunday Worship – 10:45 am
Where is the church located?
310 Elmwood Road, Lansing, MI 48917
What should I expect?
When you arrive, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you. Our worship service begins at 10:45 am and lasts about 90 minutes. Worship includes a time of singing praises, prayer at the altar, and an inspiring message from the Bible by one of our pastors. The fourth Sunday of each month we celebrate communion – remembering how Jesus gave his body and blood to forgive us of our sin.

What should I wear?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to suits at our worship gatherings. Our focus is not on what you look like or what you wear. Dress in whatever is comfortable for you!

Do you have something for my Kids?
Kids are a priority at Lansing First! We have interactive Sunday School classes for kids ages 4 and up. There is a nursery program available to Children under 4 years old during both Sunday School and Worship. During the sermon, children ages 4-9 are invited to attend Children’s Church which offers a variety of activities every week.

How do I accept Christ as my Savior?

Admit that you are a sinner.
“…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
The Bible tells us: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and He is able to save you from your sin. “For God so loved the World, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Confess Jesus as the Savior and Lord of your life. “…if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Romans 10:9

We can pray: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner.  I believe you died for my sins and rose again.  I now desire to sin no more and become more like you.  I accept you as my personal Savior and Lord.  Amen

We are invited to: Repent (or turn away from sin) and by faith (believing) receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life.  Then, follow Him as Lord and be more like Him.
